
Ms. Brown joined the firm in 2006 as an associate in our Corporate Section. Her primary areas of practice include corporate law, commercial transactions and negotiated acquisitions.
Erica has counseled clients on a variety of corporate matters, including the negotiation and acquisition of banks and bank holding companies; acquisition of oilfield services companies; and conversion of The Fidelity Homestead Association into Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank. She represents the State of Louisiana and its property manager, SMG, in the negotiation of facility leases for professional sports teams including the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Hornets, and the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau in connection with the financing, development and implementation of the New Orleans Hospitality Strategic Task Force master plan.
Erica graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University in 2002 with a major in Political Science and a minor in English. At LSU, she was selected for membership in Omicron Delta Kappa and Order of Omega. Thereafter, Ms. Brown earned her J.D. and B.C.L. (Bachelor of Civil Law) degrees from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Brown is admitted to practice in Louisiana.
