Ms. Richards joined the firm in 2011 as an associate in our Litigation Section.

Lara graduated with a B.A. in English and Government from the University of Notre Dame in 1997. She graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2011, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and a managing editor of Tulane Law Review. During her third year of law school, Ms. Richards worked as an extern for the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Richards was a print journalist in Texas.
