Firm Partners Recognized in The Best Lawyers in America 2008; Firm Ranked #1 in New Orleans in Banking Law

Five Fishman Haygood partners were named top lawyers in Louisiana by The Best Lawyers in America, 2008 edition, across several practice areas. Further, our Banking Law practice was recognized as #1 in New Orleans.

The publication ranked Louis Fishman, Paul Haygood and Robert Walmsley, Jr. the best corporate law practitioners in the state. Mr. Fishman and Scott Willis, were also ranked the best lawyers practicing banking law. The Best Lawyers also hailed Mr. Fishman as Louisiana's best lawyers in the area of securities. Mr. Fishman and Mr. Haygood were honored as top practitioners in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Willis was acclaimed as a top practitioner of equipment finance law, and James Swanson was counted as one of the leading commercial litigators in the state.
